It ain't April, but there are several Easter eggs here. Whoever finds them gets a free drink! Kabbie ****************************************************** Scully walked into the basement office. To her surprise and dismay, Monica Reyes was in there, fussing around John's desk. "What are you doing here?" Reyes looked up at her, a frown creasing her brow. "I'm leaving something for John." "You can leave it with me, Agent Reyes." Reyes gave Scully a dirty look, masking it over with aloofness. "No, it's rather personal. You know John and I go way back." Scully put down her jacket and popped her neck. She had the fiercest dreams all night about her blue-eyed partner, complete with a g-string, body paint, a lounge and a blue lightsaber, only to be rudely awakened by her mother, thoroughly disrupting the best orgasm in a blue age. Now coming into her office and seeing that bottle-brunette poking around in here, around his desk, no less, was not putting her in the best of moods. "I do know that, and I also know you have no business down here. So, if you don't mind," Scully motioned to the door. Reyes wasn't hearing it. She and John had been friends long before this blip of a redhead crossed his radar. She wanted more, but was willing to give John the space he needed to sort himself before he came to her. "What's your problem, Scully?" Screw it. "As of now, you're my problem, Reyes. I don't appreciate you coming in here-unauthorized-and messing with my partner's desk." Reyes glared at her. She'd had enough of this simpering bitch's hot-cold attitude towards a man who did not deserve on-again-off-again feelings for a woman he lik-respected. Reyes refused to entertain the thought that John felt anything more than respect for this crybaby redhead. Reyes even thought the redhead part was false. She itched to take a peek at Scully's bathroom wastebasket. "Jealous of our relationship, Scully? Is that it?" Scully rounded on the woman, angry now. She wanted to go there, eh? "What relationship, Reyes? John has said nothing about a *relationship* to me. Or is that all in your mind???" "Oh bullshit! You've been jealous of me ever since you found out we knew each other when he was a cop." She'd entertained several fantasies about a cop and a dipper getting naked. Reyes bared her teeth at Scully, mentally preparing to go for the throat. Best to have it out, all said and done. Scully wound herself up for the catfight. Not today, not after those blissful dreams. "If you think I'm jealous of you," she jabbed a nail at Reyes, "you should change your name to Moronica, because you are a moron if you think that!!! Look at *me*! *Why* in the hell would I be jealous of *you*???" Reyes barked. "You can't even decide which man you want, Scully. You toy with Skinner like you do with Mulder, and you must be out of your tree if you think I'm going to let you tease John, you slutty skanch." Scully felt the color drain from her face. "Tease? At least I know *how*, you flat bitch!" Reyes gave her another dirty look. "All that attitude, making him care about you, making him run after you…you are not going to get him, girlfriend! He's mine!" Scully swallowed, furious. That was it. "I don't think so! He *is* mine!" "Over my dead body!" "That can be arranged!" "You go near him and I will whip your ass!" "I'd love to see you try!" Reyes stood in front of Scully, smacking her palm down on John's desk, her eyes alight with rage. Scully stared right back at her, her eyes equally bright with fury. This was escalating into a full-scale battle replete with handbags, lipsticks and Tampax. "You red-headed slug!" Reyes spit at her. "I will not let you have him!" Scully frowned, fists clenched. "You're one to talk, you bottle-jobbing hammerhead shark! He is not yours to dictate!!" "Who is not hers to dictate, Agent Scully?" came that sexy drawl that had hooked both women in the first place. Scully and Reyes turned to see Agent Doggett coming into the office with the sports page and two cups of coffee. John Doggett stared at the two red-faced women, wondering what in the hell they were fighting about *this* week. ===== "Whatever lies within sows the seeds of one's destiny..." arcturusk2@yahoo.com
